Southern Solutions 5B is available for both residential and commercial projects. With five successful years and dozens of mulching projects accomplished in the land-clearing field, our family-owned and operated company has flourished in South Texas. We are excited and motivated to continue to push forward, sticking to our upfront and competitive business ethics and prices.
Our excavator has been an exciting addition to our line-up of machinery. On its own, it can grub out and stack mesquite trees of any size without leaving rootball holes in the ground. It’s the most efficient way to remove debris from wet weather, running creeks, and water breaks.
It also pairs nicely with our bulldozer for new pond builds and existing pond renovation projects. Also, it adds value for our customers through the production of our mulching projects.

Dozer Services
Our late model dozer is the perfect tool for any sized project! This John Deer 850K Bulldozer is equipped with a large, 13-foot-wide blade and a 3 shank ripper for those tougher jobs. The 850K is also outfitted with a custom-built root rake ideal for underground root removal. Whether its a new pond or vegetation removal with ground preparation, or a fence line to road construction, we’ve got you covered!

Who We Are
Southern Solutions 5B was started by Erik and Leah Bruce-Gonzales in late 2017.
Erik, with a background in production and operations management, and Leah, with a background in education, decided to join forces and take the leap to become self-employed. Through hard, honest work, they now have taken the next step and have become employers and are offering more land management options for their customers.
Their goal is to grow their business into a company that the Lord, their three sons, and their community can be proud of.

Our machines are large, powerful, purpose-built mulching units that are designed and engineered to be both a productive and environmentally responsible means of land clearing with no piles, no burning, and no negative impact on existing erosion paths or native wildlife or commercially grown livestock.
